Surrounding this huge vast of land are long stretches of drains. During the prayer, water are flooded from the well/fountain/dunno what to the drains all by HANDS ON LABOUR nono machines ok! Mind u the land is so big, how many labours do u reckon are needed to fill the drains just for a ceremony?? bcos it was said that water means fortune to them

Oh this temple is damn big. I think it is equal to the whole of Tampines
Into the temple offerings prayers to the God of earth
I can't remember what is this. You see, they have too many attics and it just happen so that all of them LOOK THE SAME!

This door was built in the era of Emperor Qianlong. it was erected bcos this door was a shortcut to the temple as Qianlong was very old then and had difficulties coming to the temple to offer his prayings. he then ordered that only emperors who reached the age of 70 would be able to use this door bcos he did not want his descendants to be lazy.(respect respect) Unfortunately none of the emperors lasted for more than the age of 70 which made Qianlong the only emperor who utilised this door.
They have a lot of different attics for different purposes. Some are for gods, some for stars, some for fire, wood, earth, water and gold(according to chinese horoscopes) i think it's quite cool actually bcos my mum told me that i belong to earth according to the chinese calender and that my life will need water bcos earth/'mud' need water to survive, hence my chinese name characters are made up of 'san dian sui' three drops mean water in mandarin..WOW VERY CHIM AH! my family so cultured wo...there goes the same for my sisters too!
They claim that this tree looks like it is being made up of 9 dragons and it was said to bring lucky numbers for those who by 4D. -_-whatever
In front of this attic, there is a big open space surrounded by other attics, it is known till now that if one were to stand on the third tile facing this specific attic and clap your hands once, there will be an echo repeated thrice. There was once a legend that in the olden days, the echo was so loud that one can communicate to the other person even when they are standing at two extreme opposite ends. It was due to this echo thingy, the emperor overheard his servants speaking ill of him one day when he was strolling in this place.
Inside of god-knows-what respect respect
